About
Mr. Bob Lovell
Bob Lovell, the founding agent and owner of HMS, has been working in Dallas-Fort Worth real estate for several decades. Early on in his career, he realized what home shoppers liked and didn’t like about the homebuying process.
Touring a dozen homes that obviously didn’t meet their needs was a pointless and avoidable exercise that wasted everyone’s time. Unfortunately, many real estate agents still dragged their clients through the process, often for their own selfish reasons. Bob recognized the process could be streamlined relatively easily simply by making the home shopping experience about the homebuyer instead of the real estate agency.
That’s why the Home Marketing Services team takes the time at the outset to get to know you. Before we ever show you any homes, we first ascertain exactly what type of community you want to live in, the types of amenities you need nearby, and what kind of home features you’re seeking. After we understand what you want in a home, we make a list of properties and show you only the homes that meet your needs.
In some cases, the existing inventory of homes on the Dallas-Fort Worth market doesn’t meet a client’s needs, which is why we’ve developed relationships with some of the best homebuilders in the area.
Nearly every Dallas-area resident who has watched television in the past 20-something years is familiar with HMS founder Bob Lovell and his catchphrase, “Bless Your Heart” SM. In these commercials, Bob offers tough love to viewers who should get out of the rent race by encouraging them to reach for a better tomorrow through homeownership.
The mission of Home Marketing Services is fundamentally community-focused. Selling homes isn’t just about making money; it’s about helping people build equity for their future, feel pride of ownership, and enjoy the true freedom of living in a property they own.
Having a mortgage can insulate Dallas residents from rampant inflation and rent price hikes. Even in the short term, homeownership can lead to stability, community pride, and an overall better Dallas for everyone.
